I thought I saw this sign back in Jan. 09, Hmmm ... we can now cross of point 1
WOW - and all this 2 years before the new Heritage Woods Middle School / Heritage Mountain Middle School is scheduled to open.
Well, it should be interesting to see what our tax bills will be when we add additional bylaw officer coverage, calculate additional Policing and Fire costs.
Maybe another $300 to $400 over the next few years in addition to the $100 this year won’t be so bad.
After all it’s only $50 per month. Just give up our Starbucks.

Anmore homeowners will be slapped with a 9.4% tax hike in July while residents…
Anmore homeowners will be slapped with a 9.4% tax hike in July while residents in the neighbouring village of Belcarra will be hit with a 2.8% rise in municipal levies.
Anmore council passed its budget last Thursday night — a day before the annual tax increases had to be endorsed under provincial legislation — to push the rate $104 higher than last year for residents living in an “average” home of $1.01 million.

I recall several 4X4 signs erected throughout Anmore stating “Anmore will INCREASE Property TAXES and the following blog posts.
Well we can now check one of the four points off the list.
