Interesting timing - is this a privately funded study?

The SD43/Anmore hasn’t given anyone any information…..someone has to do it I suppose.

Can anyone “transparently” answer the question posed? What experts were employed and by whom? You must admit the timing is a little less than subtle.
I am all for environmental studies, but I am wary of private individuals with thinly veiled intentions on either side of the divide orchestrating such matters.

I think the School District’s and BC governments commitment to building a LEED Gold school on the site speaks volumes. If this land was privately developed it would not have anywhere near the environmental consideration as a LEED gold building site.
Please remember that this site will be developed for residential, if not a school site and a LEED Gold school site is about as environmentally sustainable as you can get.
For those not aware of LEED Gold it is one of the highest green building standards in North America. As an Anmore resident, who supports the middle school and is an environmental advocate, I am looking forward to having a LEED Gold building in our commmunity and hope that if the site will be rezoned.
So I am not sure what your environmental assessment is going to show, other than a LEED Gold site is an incredibly positive option for this area and will offer the most attention to drainage, water flow and green space allocation. Our tree protection bylaw will also ensure that 20% of the lot remains treed.

Great comment Tracy - something I did not know.
