Update - Anmore’s regularly scheduled council meeting March 24th, 2009
RE: Proposed rezoning of residential property in Anmore
The fourth and final reading for BYLAW NO. 463, 2009 a bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw was given, motioned, and approved by Mayor and Council. Note Kerri Palmer Issak left council chambers during the fourth reading and approval.
There was no public discussion.
There was no up-date given on the status of (Michael Rosen) Anmore’s consultant’s recommendation to conduct the Fire Underwriters Survey to assess the capacity of the Sasamat Fire Department to provide fire protection as per the special Anmore’s council meeting on March 5th, 2009.

So, it would appear that the BYLAW was approved to rezone the residential Anmore property as identified without knowing whether or not Anmore can provide acceptable Fire Safety protection for the proposed Heritage Woods – Heritage Mountain Middle School, and the Fire Safety issue has now formed part of the restrictive covenant that will be need to be met satisfactorily by School District 43 prior to the Village of Anmore issuing a SD43 a building permit.
There was no mention of the letter (regarding procedure errors) faxed March 24th, to Corporate Administration - Karen-Ann Cobb, Manager of Corporate Services, Anmore.
